American solo singer, former member of the popular female group Pussycat Dolls Nicole Scherzinger talked about her long-term struggle with bulimia.

At the beginning of her career, her desire to become perfect grew into an addictive mania and she often resorted to a dangerous method of weight control, which entailed inducing vomiting. “My bulimia became my addiction, self-harm became my addiction,” said the 34-year-old singer in an interview.

Nicole admitted that she felt loneliness even surrounded by close people, self-loathing engulfed her, began to be visited by thoughts that this would never end. Without resorting to drug use, she was addicted to other ill effects. “I never talked about it. I am ashamed, "holding back tears, says Scherzinger.

The singer told how, returning after the concert, in order to calm the mental pain, she cut herself. She admitted that she constantly had to hide the scars, cuts and blisters on her hands and wrists, which were the result of what she did to herself when she was alone in the room. "I tried to hide it, but I think that the girls from the group can confirm this."

Fortunately, now the girl is working out, despite the fact that she left the Pussycat Dolls, the support of her boyfriend, the British race car driver Lewis Hamilton, does not let her lose her peace of mind. And although the yellow press is once again trying to convince everyone of the separation of the couple, their correspondence on Twitter suggests otherwise.
