Each hostess at least once faced with the question - what to cook for lunch (dinner, breakfast). This is akin to a joke - the most difficult part in cooking is choosing what to cook. It so often happens that preparing holiday dishes is not difficult, but everyday life is confusing. Sometimes there is not enough strength or imagination for something new from familiar products.

There is a solution, today we suggest you cook potatoes with stew. But this simple and not ordinary dish, we cook in a completely new way and add a green pot. After all, many use stew for cooking this or that dish.

Ingredients:

Potato - 1 kg;

Stew - 1 can (400-500 g);

Tomato paste - 2 tbsp. l .;

Green peas - 100 g;

Onion - 1 pc.;

Carrots - 1 pc.;

Vegetable oil - 30 ml;

Spices - laurel, salt, black pepper.

Water.

Recipe:

Let's start cooking our dish by peeling potatoes. We cut it into a maximum of 4 parts. Pour water and put on fire.

When the water begins to boil, reduce the fire and detect 10 minutes. After draining the water. We need half-baked potatoes. While the potatoes are hot, season them with your favorite spices and mix well. Cover the potatoes with a lid. While the onions and carrots are fried, the potatoes are saturated with the aroma and taste of herbs.

Chop the onion in half rings or cups. Cut carrots into strips. For lovers of hot - add 4-5 cloves of garlic, finely chopped, to the pan. You can also add chili peppers.

Fry onions and carrots in vegetable oil for literally 5-7 minutes.

Now you can add the potatoes to the pan.

Fry it for a couple of minutes and add the stew. It is better to pre-knead it with a fork.

Add tomato paste and mix.

Pour water or potato broth into the pan, so that it almost covers the potatoes. Bring the mixture to a boil and try on salt. Add your favorite spices to your taste.

Add the green peas, cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until the potatoes are ready (depending on the variety).

Potatoes can be served immediately to the table as an independent dish.
