A group of American scientists created a vaccine against one of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer. The effectiveness of the drug during the experiments showed a significant advantage over conventional therapy used for cancer. The specificity of the vaccine is an individual approach to each patient. In other words, the drug is developed according to the specificity of the tumor of each individual patient. Doctors plan to use the medicine in the postoperative period. The use of the drug causes a special reaction of the immune system, during which those cancer cells that still managed to survive after removal of the tumor are destroyed.

Doctors are convinced that the further development of such drugs can, in the end, cure this disease. Today, the developed vaccine is used for patients with glioblastoma - stage IV brain tumors, which occupies 15% of all brain tumors and develops mainly in people after forty-five years.
