Half of Russians do not know about free medicines for children

Few people know that parents whose children have not reached the age of three have the right to receive a number of drugs completely free of charge. A survey showed that of more than two hundred young mothers living in different regions of our country, more than half admitted that they do not know that they are entitled to free medicines. 26% of respondents said that the state in clinics is silent about such a "bonus". Moreover, even when the parents themselves reminded the doctors of this possibility, they did not give prescriptions for free drugs.

Recall that under current legislation, children under three years old and children from large families up to six years old are entitled to receive prescription drugs free of charge.
