Having put aside our usual pancakes, American pancakes tightly fit into the menu of restaurants and coffee houses.

They are larger in volume than Russian pancakes, and with one such pancake you can easily get enough at lunchtime or for breakfast - in this regard, this dish is much more economical than small pancakes, which you can eat 20 in one sitting!

And it's not even in the pursuit of something foreign - the pancakes are really worthy of praise, because they are always tender, soft and tasty with a minimum amount of fat. And if you add boiled grated pumpkin or carrot to the dough, the cooked dish will surprise you with its bright and attractive bright orange look. Can't wait to try American dessert? You will need 4 servings:

- 2 chicken eggs;

- 1 tbsp. kefir or yogurt;

- 1 tbsp. wheat flour;

- 100 g of granulated sugar;

- 3 pinches of salt;

- 0.5 tsp. soda, extinguished with vinegar;

- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil;

- jam or berries, fruit for decoration.

First of all, break the chicken eggs into a container with high sides. When making dough products, it is best to use homemade chicken eggs - they will give the products a more saturated color.

Next, pour sugar and salt. How should we whisk the whole mass with a whisk for 2-3 minutes so that a lush, non-falling foam is formed on its surface.

Then pour a glass of kefir - it will add pomp to pancakes, however, you can use unsweetened yogurt, ryazhenka or yogurt, but milk is not recommended.

Soda quench vinegar and gently interfere in the dough so that air bubbles are inside it.

Pour wheat flour and mix it with a whisk or scapula.

The last ingredient will be vegetable oil: pour one spoon of it into the dough, and the second - onto the surface of the pan. This amount of fat is enough to fry the whole mass of dough in portions. It can be replaced with a slice of bacon, pinned on a fork. They will need to lubricate the surface of the pan before frying the next pancake - this way you generally minimize fat intake.

Using a ladle, pour the first batch of dough into the pan - for pancakes it is best to use small diameter frying pans or saucepans with a non-stick bottom. Fry for about 1 minute over medium heat.

As soon as bubbles appear at the edges of the pancake and burst - turn it over to the other side with a spatula and fry for about a minute.

Spread ready-made ruddy pancakes with a slide and decorate with berries, fruits, jam, cream or honey - according to your taste and desire. From the whole mass of dough, exactly 4 pancakes will turn out. If you have a big family or you are expecting guests, then increase the number of ingredients, approximately counting this composition on 4 pieces.
