We often think about how we, city dwellers, lack nature. Fresh green leaves, air rich in oxygen - one only has to dream about it in the sweltering and dusty megalopolises. Perhaps that is why among the townspeople so widespread love of indoor plants. However, not everyone succeeds in creating a small oasis in his apartment, and some even refuse to keep "green pets". What is the reason? This topic was devoted to another survey of the portal "Women's Opinion".
It turned out that the vast majority of Russians (84%) love indoor plants.
About a third of them (26% of the total number of respondents) admitted that they love flowers so much that they cannot imagine their apartment without a home greenhouse, and therefore they constantly grow plants in large numbers. For such lovers of green islands - potted plants are the best gift for any celebration.
41.5% of women keep only one or two flowers at home. The main reason for this self-restraint is a banal lack of time and effort to fully care for flowers. But 17% of respondents, in spite of all their love for plants, generally do not have the ability to start them and, therefore, are forced to deny themselves this pleasure. Some respondents refuse to keep fresh flowers due to allergies or cramped living conditions.
And, as it turned out, about 15% of women do not grow indoor plants at home, simply because they do not like living greens at home.
5810 people aged 20 to 45 years from 183 cities of Russia took part in the survey.
